How strange it is when a scent that first captivates then starts to cause discomfort. On a blotter, it's truly captivating, but when I tried it on my skin, something entirely different began. First, there's a cold, almost metallic rose, and that's what attracted me. But then... then this musk appears, which just won't let go. Every time I smell it, I feel awkward. Too revealing, too provocative. This scent is like a magnet, drawing you in and not giving you peace. As if I've fallen into some strange captivity )

Agent Provocateur perfume is something else entirely. I still can't figure out if I like it or not. The scent is kind of strange, unlike anything else. Sometimes it unfolds beautifully, and sometimes it just smells like cologne with vetiver. When the mood is right, it can really surprise. There's something mysterious and sexy about it, but not vulgar, rather fatal. But if it acts up, it turns into some rough masculine scent. So here we are, not knowing what to do with it)))

I've long wanted to get acquainted with this fragrance. At the time it was at its peak popularity, I was more interested in other scents. Inside this pink egg hides a chypre with rose notes. The softness that is felt is truly attractive. But the rose is hard to call truly pink; rather, it's dark pink. It turns out there's a certain dissonance with the image currently associated with the color pink - youth and infantilism. And the fragrance itself is not cute at all. Saffron clearly stands out here, as do southern flowers that seem to wilt under the scorching sun. Overall, the composition looks quite harmonious )

The smell of vetiver here is very bright and powerful, with notes of amber and sheep's wool. There's a certain artificiality, reminiscent of a burnt wire smell. Such a fragrance, in my opinion, is more suitable for men or for women who want to emphasize their strength. The longevity of the fragrance is average, the sillage is also not too pronounced, with a slight bitterness 🌟

The magnolia here is really bright, but the saffron and musk just overpower everything. The fragrance ends up being tiring and, unfortunately, has a chemical undertone. I was hoping for gardenia, but alas, it didn't live up to expectations. Not what I wanted at all!!

Last summer, in a department store, I stumbled upon a pink bottle that immediately caught my eye. I smelled it, pondered. Later, when I found myself in the same department store for errands, I decided that if the bottle was still there, I'd buy it. A hundred ml for 2400 rubles is a perfectly reasonable price for a fragrance that has already become a legend and, moreover, is discontinued. My inner collector simply couldn't resist. I have a rule: if something is waiting for me, it must be mine. And this time, fate truly smiled. I picked up the bottle, thought about it, and decided: 'This is definitely worth getting'. I bought it along with a book about perfumery - a great gift for myself. Plus, the bottle resembles an Easter egg!

Now about the fragrance itself. It stands out against modern trends. It has the bitterness of saffron, the freshness of cedar, and hints of vetiver. The brightness of rose, as if from rose oil, is also present. Musk adds depth. I haven't detected white flowers yet, but in some ways, it reminds me of 'Montale' - Aoud Rose. The scent doesn't seem heavy or exclusively for evening; it can be worn during the day, especially in winter. It has strictness, but also sensuality. I have cold skin, and the top notes linger for a long time. Let's get to know it better

I tried it several times, but I just couldn't love it. From the very beginning, it's overpowering, and then it doesn't let go for another 3-4 hours. Some say it only fully develops after 5 hours, but that's such a long time to wait

Musky, yes, long-lasting, but darn loud. From the bottle it seems okay, but on myself, it's just tiring. Maybe it's not my style? Sometimes it's appropriate, but sometimes too intrusive, like a neighbor who gets into your soul. Overall, the perfume isn't bad, but I didn't notice any cedar in it at all. )

This chypre clearly reminds me of fragrances from the 70s-80s 😌 Very bright, with dominant vetiver and moss, so sharp and persistent. If I had tried it blindly, I might have thought it was something from men's perfumes. And, unfortunately, it quickly loses its intensity 😔

The musk here is simply amazing! At first, it really makes your head spin, as if it carries you to another world. The fragrance is sharp, but that's its charm. Creamy and salty notes, as well as a slight hint of rose, are barely audible, but they add interest to the main scent. The sillage is gorgeous, and the longevity is simply top-notch!

This fragrance became the only one my boyfriend isn't shy to call "Ew!" He considers it "sharp, rough, and stinky, like men's cologne." I was upset, of course, but decided to give it a chance and wore it to a corporate event. The reaction wasn't any better. The accountant sitting next to me sarcastically remarked, "Oh, it's Mikhalych again with his cheap Oriflame cologne." And you talk about sensuality and seduction :( None of my acquaintances, even those with the most unusual tastes, found anything pleasant or feminine in it. My mom just said, "Vetiver Vetiverovich!" 😔

This fragrance is just not for me, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't understand what's so special about it. It's sharp, rough, and even a bit old-fashioned, sorry, fans. On me, it smells like cologne with vetiver and woody notes, and the musky accents are just ruined. I tested an original, not a fake, which a friend brought from a reputable store abroad. I don't feel any eroticism in this scent. Pure chypre and cologne, that's it. Even my boyfriend said it smells like a "hungover dude"

I adore this fragrance, I can't help myself. I first tried it when it just came out, sometime in 2002-2003, and then it disappeared from shelves so quickly, which is a real shame. It's truly unique, sexy, and full of temperament. Now there are so many flankers and new releases, but almost none of them have anything of the original. And fakes are everywhere, I even got one as a gift, but I couldn't wear it, I just threw it away. I still have my last bottle of Provocateur from 2007, I'm saving it because it's impossible to find in our city. This fragrance collects a ton of compliments, but from women, I sometimes hear negativity. An acquaintance once said, "Ugh, it's so vulgar!", while she herself was wearing Poison, like a fairy, in broad daylight
