Description of the composition

The composition of Sonnet is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Ajmal is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Abstract, Floral, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

As soon as the fragrance opens you catch fantasy sparkling first note: Fresh Notes.

In the middle phase you meet Floral Notes keeping a velvety rose-iris direction. In the base the line is anchored through Ambergris and Woody Accord, shaping a deep amber trail.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Fairy, Floral, Ambery and Wood. It also reaches into Whiteflower. At family level the fragrance belongs to Floral and Wood.

This fragrance seems to try to be fresh, but in reality, it's just a set of light aquatic notes that fail to impress. The citrus accents seem too intrusive and unnatural, and the exotic flowers don't unfold at all as promised. Sillage? It's barely noticeable, and the balsamic threads of wood add no strength, rather, they create a sense of emptiness. Overall, a complete disappointment 😒
