The third fragrance from Ajmal's black "W" line that I'm testing doesn't disappoint. It's truly multifaceted and beautiful. Not all Amouage fragrances appeal to me, but this one stands out with its complex interplay of notes on the skin. The opening is spices and flowers, fresh and spicy, very appetizing. Sandalwood isn't in the foreground yet; rather, it's somewhere in the background. But after just a few minutes, it becomes the main accent of the fragrance. Ginger adds an interesting bitter-spicy nuance to the sandalwood, and floral notes make the woody scent softer. I don't get any "pilaf" associations, as some have written before. Cumin and cardamom, along with jasmine, give the perfume a light golden-green tint. In the base, a warm, creamy sandalwood remains, creating a cozy atmosphere. However, the longevity of Sandal Wood isn't as high as that of previous fragrances. It quickly becomes close to the skin and barely projects, although it lasts long on the skin. Hatkora and Amber Wood are deeper and more complex. Overall, it's a solid fragrance that doesn't quite reach "wow" status, but will find its fans

This fragrance simply amazes with its cold woody base, the cedar here is truly resinous and spicy, with notes of cardamom that add interest. The rose unfolds gradually, creating the feeling that it's about to disappear, but the cedar returns again and lasts until the very end. The bottle impresses with its size and weight, it's as powerful as the scent itself 🌟

Wood - it's just a bunch of herbal spices and scraps of wood that seem to have been collected from a dump. No sophistication, just harsh sandalwood notes that press on the brain. I don't understand how anyone could like this 😒

I was really expecting sandalwood, but what I got was some wild oud with a metallic taste, trapped under this spicy greenery. Cardamom is clearly at the forefront here, and cumin only adds a cold nuance to it all, enhancing that terrible metallic sound 😤
