The Story of Amaro Paradisus

Amaro Paradisus is a 2024 novelty from the niche house Amaro.

This unisex extract combines fruity, floral and marine motifs, and its multifaceted nature turns the idea of classic perfumery upside down.

The brand's founder, Andreas Wilhelm, created this precious elixir.

The perfumer put a love of contrasts into Paradisus: the freshness of tropical flowers meets the depth of earthy shades, the sweetness of cream and the coolness of sea water.

An Olfactory Journey

The opening chord offers frangipani and a fruity note — they sound juicy and optimistic. At the heart, magnolia, tiare and earthy notes unfold, creating an intriguing volume.

The base of amber, musk, cream and a marine chord leaves a long-lasting "aftertaste", making the fragrance truly sensual.

With a very strong sillage, Paradisus will not go unnoticed. This is not an office scent, but a statement — for special moments when you want to be the center of attention.

Thanks to the extract concentration, the perfume sounds rich and lasts on the skin for a very long time, so just a couple of sprays are enough.

Who It Suits and How to Wear It

The unisex character allows both women and men to wear it. On women's skin it becomes softer and sweeter, on men's — deeper and more mysterious.

The ideal time for such a perfume is evening, cool weather, when you want to wrap yourself in a warm amber cloud.

If you are close to the aesthetics of Paradisus, pay attention to compositions similar in mood: Reminiscence Rem & Bow, Ormonde Jayne Frangipani and Roxy Roxy.

They also play with tropical and floral notes, but each reproduces them in their own way.

Amaro Paradisus is a little journey to a lost paradise that you want to repeat again and again.

Choose it if you like bright, multi-layered perfumery that can surprise and inspire.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
