Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Ancestry for Men is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The style of Amway is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet spicy sparkling opening notes: Coriander, Lavender and Thyme.

In the heart you notice Jasmine and Orange blossom holding a silky white floral direction.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Spicy, Green, Aromatic and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Ambery, Wood and Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to Fern and Spicy.

In summary Ancestry for Men reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is sweetish and amber, but quickly disappears, leaving behind only an unclear soapy base. I'm not against store-bought cosmetics, but this is another cheap gimmick. Two points only for a decent start 😒
