Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Animale Love evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Animale is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect airy floral opening notes: Lily and Mandarin. These 2 notes build light sensuality that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Gardenia, Orchid and Peony keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Wood and Amber enrich the profile without taking over.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Whiteflower, Citrus, Floral and Ambery. The palette also extends to Wood, Spicy and Musk. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Floral.

Taken together Animale Love reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This is some outdated perception of floral sweetness. It reminds me of the times when my sister wore leggings and had teased hair. Here, there's lily, sweet, with a hint of bitterness and a milky aftertaste, and the base is just as bright and snow-white 🤷‍♀️
