Description of the composition

The scent of Mon Homme unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Ann Steeger comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Citrus, Wood, Amber and Spicy without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Marine add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the first seconds you sense radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Grapefruit and Marine accord. These 2 notes set a sensation of cool purity that is impossible to miss.

When the opening settles you meet Guaiac wood and Laurel holding a velvety sandalwood direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Ambergris and Patchouli, reinforcing a viscous resinous trail.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Aquatic, Wood and Spicy. It also reaches into Ambery.

Taken together Mon Homme sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.
