Description of the composition

The scent of Unica is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Antonio Croce comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral, Fruit, Spicy and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Wood, Balsamic and Gourmet. At family level the fragrance belongs to Chypre and Floral.

In the first seconds you sense vibrant berry top notes: Blackcurrant, Pink pepper, Raspberry and Saffron.

In the heart you meet Jasmine, Nagarmotha, Peony and Rose holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The bottle is simply gorgeous, it stands out in the collection! The azure iridescence is pleasing to the eye. But the content, unfortunately, doesn't match this splendor. The color evokes associations with a Mediterranean coast vacation, but saffron and oud, in my opinion, are superfluous. In the end, we get another Montale-like creation. First, fruits are felt, but saffron completely overwhelms them. Oriental notes are already quite tiresome. I want something lighter and airier!
