Description of the composition

The scent of Russian Oud is built as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Areej Le Dore comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Perfume extract sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Wood, Animals, Gourmet and Musk. It also reaches into Balsamic. At family level the fragrance belongs to East and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect clean cedar top note: Oud.

When the opening settles you sense Castoreum, Cocoa, Oud and musk carrying a warm leathery-musky direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Gourmet and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Russian Oud sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
