Description of the composition

The composition of Vetiveres is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Arquiste is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Cedar, Frankincense, Guaiac wood, Labdanum, Myrtle and Patchouli. In this case 7 notes work as one integrated frame, forming a sense of noble depth that feels seamless.

The deeper layers are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the group perspective the composition is built around Ambery, Wood, Balsamic and Spicy. It also reaches into Green and Gourmet. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East and Wood.
