Fragrance information:

Since 2013, Avant-Garde Autre Parfum has never stopped surprising. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the wood and water families. Perfumer Jean-Marc Henriot poured every ounce of mastery into this one. Released in eau de toilette.

It has a very delicate sillage, staying close and personal. It's a light presence — longevity is low, perfect for those who love something airy. France is where this fragrance comes from — and it shows. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Avant-Garde unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Autre Parfum is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Wood and Amber forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Low suggests confident staying power. In trail behavior Very weak shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Grapefruit and Mandarin.

In the heart you meet Jasmine and Laurel carrying a silky white floral direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Citrus, Whiteflower, Spicy and Ambery. The framework further includes Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Aquatic.

Taken together Avant-Garde reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Extremely inconspicuous
1
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

How amazing that a fragrance from France turned out to be so fresh and long-lasting, without any naphthalene! 🌟 The gift is simply excellent, I recommend it. Citrus notes in men's perfumes always delight, and the design of the bottle and packaging is simply gorgeous!
