Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Black Tie unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The signature of Battistoni is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In the first seconds you catch invigorating sunny first notes: Black Pepper, Calabrian bergamot and Grapefruit.

In the middle phase you notice Clary Sage, Lavender and Tonka bean keeping a noble herbal direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Citrus, Aromatic and Green. The palette also extends to Ambery, Wood, Musk and Gourmet.

Overall Black Tie reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Black tea with bergamot and lavender - it's simply a discovery! I'm not sure if lavender is added, but its scent in this tart combination with bergamot sounds very pleasant ☕✨
