Fragrance information:

Mysterious and seductive—this is how one could describe Benefit Under My Spell Noelle, launched by the legendary Benefit brand in 2013.

This eau de toilette (EDT concentration) was created for women who love to play with contrasts and surround themselves with an air of mystery.

The fragrance belongs to the oriental and spicy families, immediately hinting at its rich, warm and slightly daring character.

The composition is built around a vibrant blend of berry, floral, woody and resinous accents.

The top notes offer a sparkling, spicy opening that gradually flows into a lush floral heart and a deep, almost gourmand base.

The fragrance has a moderate sillage—it makes a confident statement without overwhelming the space.

It is the ideal choice for evening outings, romantic dates or special occasions when you want to feel like a true drama queen.

The story of Benefit began in San Francisco in 1976 with twin sisters Jean and Jane Ford.

Their boundless imagination and entrepreneurial spirit transformed a small cosmetics boutique into a global beauty empire.

Under My Spell Noelle is part of this magical tradition: it seems designed to envelop a woman in an aura of mystery and charm.

If you like Benefit Under My Spell Noelle, take a look at similar compositions: Estée Lauder Sensuous Noir, Zara Morning Grasse and Avon Prima Noir.

They also play on the contrast between warm spices and sweet woody notes.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

it sounds quite tempting, and I like these notes. but in this execution, the fragrance seems too artificial and, frankly, cheap. I didn't enjoy testing it on paper, perhaps on skin it would be different, but I had no desire to try it at all

Cranberry is my favorite scent, but here it smells completely different. The fragrance is more like a sweet dream, with notes of vanilla and wood, which, in principle, isn't bad. But the berries, unfortunately, appear quite faded and don't add any charm

Noëlle, indeed, leaves a sense of mystery. I just couldn't get used to it; as soon as I got the fragrance, I immediately sold it. At that moment, I simply wasn't ready for such ouds. Even though it's hidden under a sweet gourmand layer, there's still something reminiscent of a dental office smell. Perhaps I would like it now, but back then I was completely shocked by it

Simply stunning fragrance! It's so mysterious and rich, as if you're diving into a world of oriental fairy tales. On the skin, it unfolds incredibly, like a flower, and its longevity is simply impressive. Just a couple of sprays are enough for it to last all day. Everyone who smells it on me immediately asks what perfume it is! 🌸
