Description of the composition

The scent of Polyhymnia is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Blooddrop is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Oil-based perfume supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Animals, Balsamic, Fruit and Citrus. The palette also extends to Drinks, Wood, Floral and Whiteflower.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a musky-amber mood: Beeswax, Frankincense, Grape, Lime, Liqueur and Rosewood.

The deeper layers are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Citrus and Fruit forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood and Alcoholic expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Taken together Polyhymnia holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
