Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Angel Heart is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Blue.up is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect petal-airy opening notes: Ginger Flower, Green Mandarin and Sacred Reytingia. Exactly these 3 notes build an elegant floral wave that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you meet Salt and Vanilla carrying a smoky-mineral direction.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Amber, Spicy and Mineral add depth to the backdrop.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral, Citrus, Mineral and Gourmet. The framework further includes Musk, Animals, Wood and Whiteflower.

Taken together Angel Heart sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This Angel Heart reminded me of Olympia, but only in the worst version. Sweetness with salty vanilla and some unpleasant astringent aftertaste. Interesting, of course, but salt is more common in budget options, while the quality, as you can imagine, is lacking 😒
