The composition of Love Narcotic evolves as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Bouge is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

In the first seconds you meet radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Marshmallow and Orange blossom. These 4 notes form sunny vitality that is impossible to miss.

In the heart you notice Calypsone, Frankincense, Jasmine and Violet keeping a transparent marine direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Background accords such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Sweet, Whiteflower and Fruit. It also reaches into Aquatic, Balsamic, Floral and Spicy.

At first, it reminds me of Byredo African Ball, very similar, but then the scent becomes less distinct and, in my opinion, sweeter. I liked it, I'd happily use a small decant until the end ✨
