The note pyramid of Mumbai Noise unfolds as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Byredo comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet crisp leafy opening note: Davana. Exactly this 1 note builds natural freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you meet Coffee and Tonka bean holding a dense confectionery direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence High points to a sustained drydown presence.

Coffee with wormwood? Interesting, yes. I don't recall encountering such a combination anywhere else. And resins in the base too. It seems we're in for a play of contrasts - cold and hot in one bottle

The scent surprised me, and I really liked it. The oriental notes here are very subtle, not causing discomfort. Everything is done intelligently, without excessive obtrusiveness. Definitely worth a try

Byredo's scent, as always, sparks interest, especially when it comes to oriental notes. But, unfortunately, it doesn't stand out among the many other perfumes already known. It's hard to notice in a crowd. Overall, it's a mix of woody accents with spices, to put it briefly 🔍

Byredo perfume turned out to be a real disappointment for me. Honestly, I didn't expect this to be their work. Smoky oud with some herbs, possibly even hemp, looks quite strange. The oud trend has long passed, and there are already plenty of such fragrances. Why release another one?! The longevity, by the way, is pleasing - at least 5 hours. But that's not enough to hide the overall failure!!

I haven't been to India yet, but I've peeked into Indian shops. Mumbai Noise immediately transports you to the atmosphere of these places. Spices on the right, candles burning on the left, and incense smoking in the center. A child plays with a singing bowl, and the saleswoman, generously perfumed with oriental scents, answers a phone call. I quickly grabbed Garam Masala for the only Indian dish I know how to cook and ran out onto the street. The fragrance is very straightforward and clear, the name completely justifies it. But wearing such a scent on myself isn't my thing )
