Identity and Release History

The fragrance Cacharel Gloria, released in 2002, is a women's eau de toilette from the legendary French brand Cacharel.

It is a bright example of an oriental-fruity-floral perfume that quickly gained popularity due to its unique character and sweet, warm sillage.

The history of the Cacharel brand, founded in 1958 by Jean Bousquet, has always been associated with true French chic and effortless elegance.

Gloria continues this tradition, offering a modern interpretation of femininity from the early 2000s, reflecting an era when perfumery became bolder and more emotional.

Authors and Influence on the Industry

The creation of the fragrance was handled by the famous perfumer Olivier Cresp, known for his skill in creating complex and memorable compositions.

His talent allowed him to combine unexpected notes, such as amaretto and cherry, into a harmonious ensemble that still delights fans.

Gloria reflects the DNA of the Cacharel brand, combining elegance with playfulness, and became one of the key releases that strengthened the house's reputation in the world of perfumery.

Its influence is noticeable in subsequent oriental and fruity fragrances, proving that bold ideas can become classics.

Positioning and Usage Recommendations

As a women's fragrance, Gloria is perfectly suited for confident girls and women who appreciate sweet and warm chords.

Its noticeable sillage makes it an excellent choice for evening outings, dates, or special events where you want to leave a vivid impression.

In the eau de toilette format, the fragrance has sufficient longevity for daily use, but it best reveals itself in cool seasons, such as autumn and winter, when its oriental and gourmand notes sound especially rich.

For daytime looks, you can limit yourself to light spraying, and for the evening, add more to emphasize the character.

If you liked Gloria, you might be interested in similar fragrances, such as Guerlain Mon Guerlain, Avon Attraction for Her or Zara Fruity, which also combine sweet and fruity accents.

Each of them offers its own perspective on femininity, allowing you to experiment with different styles.

Official information is available on the Henkel website, where you can learn more about the brand and its products.

Gloria Cacharel is more than just a perfume; it is an expression of feminine strength and sensuality that continues to inspire fans around the world.

Description of the composition

The fragrance pyramid of Cacharel Gloria begins with sparkling top notes of amaretto, ambergris, hibiscus, and rose, creating a sweet and floral start that instantly captures attention.

In the heart of the composition, warm and spicy chords of ambergris, vanilla, white flowers, and white pepper unfold, adding depth and emotion, making the fragrance more complex and intriguing.

The base consists of cozy notes of almond, cedar, cherry, styrax, and tonka bean, which provide a long and rich trail, leaving a gentle aftertaste.

This combination belongs to the groups of drink, fruit, and gourmet notes, forming a rich and multifaceted composition that smoothly transitions from a bright start to a warm base, perfectly fitting into the Oriental, floral, and fruity fragrance families.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Oh, how pleasant it is to feel this fragrance! Sweet flowers with a slight hint of bitterness and vanilla create an incredible combination. It's so alluring, enveloping, and long-lasting that it simply won't let go. Its sillage is luxurious, leaving a magical impression 🌸

The fragrance really stands out with its brightness and boldness. You can feel notes of rose, powder, and spices in it, as well as a light accent of alcohol and nuts. The longevity and sillage are simply impressive. But unfortunately, I couldn't catch any cherry

A fragrance that clearly reflects the spirit of the early 2000s. Red berries in perfumery aren't really my thing, so this scent isn't for me. But despite that, I can't help but note its beauty, harmony, and excellent quality

It's such a shame that this fragrance is no longer produced. I only have a little left at the bottom of the bottle, and I'm carefully saving it. It's truly amazing - warm and alluring, with notes of cherry and cognac, and a slight almond accent. It has a certain languor from tonka beans and the sweetness of vanilla, which makes it luxurious. The longevity of the fragrance is impressive, and the sillage is simply captivating. It's memorable and draws compliments, but I can't quite say if I like it or not

Oh, how I wish I could get a whole bucket of this fragrance! It's a shame it came out so long ago, and I only learned about it thanks to a YouTube video. This scent is simply incredible! The cherry here smells so natural that even my former love for Mancera's Cherry now seems harsh and even aggressive. This fragrance, on the contrary, is so friendly and appealing! The vanilla is simply velvety, and the alcohol adds an interesting sharpness. Where can I find a full bottle of this amazing beauty?!!!

What an amazing fragrance! Cherry, cognac, and vanilla - simply a luxurious combination. It's the perfect perfume for winter, but, as always, all the best things are either simplified or, as with Gloria, simply removed from the shelves

A winter perfume that's just made for those who adore cherry and vanilla. Cacharel Gloria is an excellent choice for such lovers. It's like it envelops you in its warmth, giving a feeling of coziness and tenderness. Everything looks wonderful, and the sweetness of the fragrance is simply captivating!)))

I bought this cute bottle back in early summer, and now, finally, it's had its moment. In autumn, the fragrance unfolds especially beautifully and warmly. You can feel the vanilla in it, and all those notes that are so needed on cold, rainy days. Simply magnificent

What a terrible fragrance this is! 😤 At first, from the bottle, it seems luxurious, like cherry and cognac, but as soon as you apply it to the skin, everything changes into something incomprehensible. It smells like a medical office, or something like that. The sillage, by the way, resembles the scent from the bottle, but it's extremely rare to catch it. Maybe my skin just reacts that way, but it's a shame, honestly 😒 And only when almost everything has evaporated, does some pleasant sour cherry note appear. But that doesn't save the situation

This fragrance disappointed me. It seems Cacharel and I just don't click. From the bottle, there's a pleasant cherry and cognac scent, but on my skin, it turns into something awful - it reminds me of a school infirmary with harsh iodine and chlorine. Why am I so unlucky with perfumes
