The scent of Nuage № 6 unfolds as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The style of Ciel is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect vibrant berry first notes: Anise, Blackcurrant, Melon and Peach. These 4 notes set playful berry energy that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the heart you sense Iris, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Mimosa, Rose and ylang-ylang holding a opulent floral direction.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Gourmet, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Powdery, Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

I was fascinated by this Ciel topic for a long time. As far as I remember, it's something from Champs-Élysées. They have similarities, but 06 clearly falls short; it's too synthetic and has more fruit, while lacking that wonderful floral base found in the "fields" 😕
