Cocoa & Cashmere is the embodiment of happiness through sensual notes, perfectly suited for the modern woman seeking a balance between luxury and comfort.

Identity and Release History

Released in 2018, Clinique Cocoa & Cashmere is an eau de parfum that quickly became a favorite among fans of oriental and floral accords.

As part of the My Happy collection, this fragrance continues the brand's tradition of offering products that not only care for the skin but also uplift the mood, making each day special.

Its arrival enriched the Clinique lineup by adding gourmand notes to the familiar palette, highlighting the company's innovative approach to perfumery.

Positioning and Character

This feminine fragrance is ideal for cool autumn and winter days, creating an aura of warmth and tenderness around its wearer.

Belonging to the Oriental and Floral families, Cocoa & Cashmere combines the depth of amber notes with the lightness of floral accents, making it versatile for daily wear and special occasions.

Although sillage and dosage data are not specified, Clinique eau de parfums typically have moderate longevity, recommending 2-3 sprays on the skin for optimal effect, allowing you to enjoy the fragrance throughout the day without overdoing it.

Notes and Aromatic Palette

The composition of Cocoa & Cashmere is built on the harmony of gourmand, amber, musk, and white floral groups, creating a multi-layered and intriguing sound.

Key notes such as cocoa, vanilla, jasmine, amber, and musk interact to tell a story from a sparkling start to a deep base, making the fragrance dynamic and memorable.

This rich palette allows Cocoa & Cashmere to stand out among similar offerings, providing a unique blend of sweetness and warmth.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Clinique Cocoa & Cashmere begins with a sparkling start, where cocoa, pink pepper (red berries) and vanilla create a seductive and slightly spicy introduction, reminiscent of warm chocolate with a hint of sharpness.

In the heart of the composition, jasmine, solar notes and honeysuckle unfold, adding floral tenderness and luminous energy, which softens the initial sweetness and gives the fragrance an airy quality.

The base consists of amber and musk, creating a warm and enveloping finale that leaves a trail of coziness and sensuality on the skin.

This multi-layered unfolding allows the fragrance to smoothly transition from the bright top notes to the deep and lasting base, making each phase of wear unique and captivating.

Such a composition is perfect for those who appreciate complex and emotional perfumes, capable of telling a whole story in one day.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

I expected something special from cocoa, but no. Synthetics ruin everything, no depth. The bottle is cute, but the positives end there. Sad

I like synthetic fragrances, and I thought everyone was just nitpicking about them, but this one really smells very chemical. The cocoa scent reminds me of a cheap chocolate shower gel. Good thing I smelled it first, instead of ordering it blindly 😅

What a letdown, huh? It smells way too synthetic. The cocoa here isn't natural at all, and that ruins the overall impression. There's also vanilla sweetness and some floral honey notes, but they don't save the situation )

Cocoa with vanilla here sounds too artificial and intrusive. They should probably remove something from this for better balance. The scent, of course, is more wintery, but it lacks depth. The composition, in my opinion, isn't very harmonious
