Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Sela evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Comporta Perfumes comes through from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

Right at the start you detect juicy fruity first notes: Raspberry, Saffron and Thyme. These 3 notes set sweet sensation of summer nectar that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you sense Cestrum, Frankincense and Leather accord carrying a velvety rose-iris direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Background accords such as Wood, Amber, Leather and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Spicy, Aromatic and Floral. The palette also extends to Balsamic, Leather, Ambery and Wood.

Taken together Sela reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
