Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Replicated Wood is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Corps Volatils comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Wood and Animals. From a family perspective the composition sits in Wood.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a noble cedar mood: Cedar and Grey Ambergris. In this case 2 notes work as one integrated frame, creating lasting warm resonance that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

In summary Replicated Wood holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The scent seems too simple, though it smells pretty good. At first, you get green notes, like something musky, and then it fades, leaving a resinous woodiness behind 😒
