History and Concept

Cottage Farandole de Violette, launched in 2016, is a true embodiment of comfort and tenderness from the French brand Cottage.

This eau de parfum for women belongs to the floral and fruity fragrance families.

Cottage is a young French brand that captures the charm of life’s simple pleasures and sweet memories.

Farandole de Violette continues this philosophy, inviting you to immerse yourself in a world of soft hues and delightful emotions.

Character and Sillage

Farandole de Violette has a very strong sillage that leaves an alluring trail behind it.

This is a mood-setting fragrance: from the very first seconds, it envelops you in a sweet haze, with hints of juicy fruits and velvety flowers.

Its composition develops softly yet confidently, gradually unfolding into a warm, enveloping finish. Ideal for those who love to be noticed and want to emphasize their femininity.

Inspiration and Wearability

This fragrance is made for cozy moments: walks in the garden, tea with friends, or romantic evenings.

It is like being transported to the French countryside, where the air is filled with the scents of flowers and fresh greenery.

Thanks to its vibrant sillage, one or two sprays are enough to leave an unforgettable impression.

Farandole de Violette is the choice of confident women who appreciate elegance and charm.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I liked the smell, it reminds me of raspberry powder with a light accent of green tea and rose petals. Very summery and relaxing. But honestly, the scent isn't that bright, more like a light mist or something like a shower fragrance
