Coty launched Wild Musk in 1972 — and it was a brilliant move. A feminine fragrance belonging to the musk and floral families. By character, it falls into the musk, gourmet, and whiteflower groups. An eau de cologne — light-footed, but utterly unforgettable.

Description of the composition

The composition of Wild Musk is shaped as an expressive line of development, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The signature of Coty is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de Cologne emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Floral, Musc and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a creamy-floral mood: Jasmine, Rose, Vanilla and musk. Here 4 notes work as one integrated frame, building light sensuality that feels seamless.

The deeper layers are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The scent is simply amazing! Jasmine combined with rich milk and sweet vanilla syrup creates an incredible composition. It's bright, sweetish, and leaves a gorgeous sillage. I was so captivated by it that I even found its owner, but unfortunately, I learned that this perfume has been discontinued. Because of this, I'm only giving it 3 stars
