Description of the composition

The scent of Masumi Toujours is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Coty comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Citrus, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy, Wood and Musk. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Floral and Fruit.

From the first breath you meet juicy fruity first notes: Melon, Orange, Passion fruit and Pineapple.

In the central layer you sense Freesia, Jasmine grandiflorum, Lily of the Valley and Violet carrying a harmonious floral direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Taken together Masumi Toujours sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.

Oh, how I adore this fragrance! In the 90s, my mom gave it to me when I was in university, and it's been true love ever since 💖 Since it was discontinued, I've been constantly wandering through stores, hoping to find something similar, but alas, without success 😔 Nothing else can compare to this harmony: it perfectly combines fruity sweetness and floral freshness, and there's also something special that makes it simply magical. I keep searching and feel a bit sad, but hope never leaves me! 🌸

I remembered the nineties when I stumbled upon a whole "warehouse" of fragrances from that era. It turned out that many things interested me, especially the fruity notes, which sound different than they do now, and that's precisely what's appealing. In this perfume, I found delightful apricots, though not too natural, with a slight plastic undertone, but so captivating and velvety
