Balenciaga launched Eau de Cristobal in 2003 — and it was a brilliant move. A feminine fragrance rooted in the east and floral families. Perfumer Christophe Raynaud is the author behind this composition. Eau de Cristobal — proudly part of the Cristobal collection. Released in eau de toilette.

Expect a noticeable sillage — enough to be remembered, not enough to overwhelm. A couple of sprays will carry you through the whole day — longevity is firmly high. Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Eau de Cristobal is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Balenciaga comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

Right at the start you meet sparkling citrus first notes: Bergamot, Blackcurrant and Mandarin.

At the core of development you meet Freesia, Jasmine, Peony and ylang-ylang keeping a opulent floral direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Ambery, Wood, Spicy and Gourmet.

Overall Eau de Cristobal holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.
