Custo Man Custo Barcelona arrived in 2009 — and it was immediately clear this one was here to stay. A masculine fragrance from the spicy and fern families. This fragrance is the personal signature of perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. The fragrance is presented as eau de toilette.
It carries a noticeable sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Country of origin — Spain: no wonder the fragrance turned out this refined. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.
The fragrance has medium longevity and lasts on the skin for about 5-6 hours, gradually revealing its notes and leaving a pleasant impression
The scent is clearly present near you, but it does not fill the entire space
The perfume has a fresh scent that is not too intense, so it does not overwhelm those around you with strong essences
A light and elegant fragrance with harmonious richness—the perfect balance between the depth of eau de parfum and the freshness of cologne
Fragrances for spring and summer unfold with light citrus notes, floral and fruity accords, filling the composition with freshness, airiness, and a feeling of carefree lightness on warm days
The composition of Custo Man unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Custo Barcelona is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.
The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Musc without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.
As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Juniper berries, Lime and Neroli.
When the opening settles you meet Black Pepper, Lemon Verbena and Orange blossom carrying a warm-spicy direction.
At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Spicy. The framework further includes Whiteflower, Balsamic, Musk and Wood.
Taken together Custo Man sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint.
