Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Amethyst is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Alesha Dixon is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Amber add depth to the backdrop. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the first breath you meet radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Neroli, Orange blossom and Pear.

At the core of development you meet Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Orange blossom, Pink pepper and Rose carrying a warm-spicy direction.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Floral, Whiteflower and Fruit. It also reaches into Spicy, Ambery, Musk and Balsamic.

Taken together Amethyst sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

I don't know who Alesha Dixon is, but I have two of her fragrances. My aunt brought them as a gift. For a celebrity, the scent is too complex and unconventional. Sweet pear with cinnamon in amber and something reminiscent of smoldering wood. I can't say I liked it much, so I use it very rarely
