Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of January evolves as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Damask Haus is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Ambery, Citrus, Floral and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Mineral, Wood and Whiteflower.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a amber-warm mood: Ambergris, Bergamot, Floral Notes, Labdanum, Ozone and oak.

The middle and base stages are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
