To the fragrance: Dior Eden-Roc

Eden-Roc… quite an interesting fragrance. It evokes memories, like frames from an old film. Salt on your lips, which you constantly bite off, getting onto your tongue and into your throat. Sun rays reflecting in the azure water create a special atmosphere. The ozone-filled wind gently touches your skin, washing away sea drops. White towels on balconies seem to wink audaciously, and the crunch of pine trunks and the rustle of sand create a melody that penetrates the soul. Suddenly someone flies past, knocking you out of rhythm. He's covered in cream, trying to cross the scorching sand without flip-flops. From one side, you hear the sound of a mineral water bottle opening, from the other, a wave crashing on the shore, as if someone dropped an expensive glass. Today and tomorrow, there's no need to rush anywhere. The main thing is just to dissolve into this carefree air

Cap Nerolï would be perfect for Poirot, for example, when he's relaxing on an island, solving another crime in "Evil Under the Sun". And if you recall the 1981 film, it's definitely a scent for Maggie Smith's character. Or for someone else from Agatha Christie's works. The character is refined, with a good sense of humor, a bit witty, and a little mannered. But the scent itself has no romance or hints - it's white flowers that the wind tears from sea salt. The surf roars and splashes. All this under the scorching sun, and the midday light envelops everything in a white, chiffon haze!!

Lilac - it's a real find among old apple trees. Its companions have such mighty trunks, as if they've stood for centuries, while it's graceful and flexible, like a rapier dancing in the wind. Yes, it's still small, but its scent is simply captivating and overshadows everything around. This is one of the best manifestations of lilac in perfumery. Tenderness and fleetingness - that's what it gives. As if it's a short but bright burst of spring, when everything around blossoms and fills with life

Scheele’s green was at the peak of popularity in the Victorian era. It was obtained from sodium carbonate, arsenic oxide, and copper sulfate. On the wave of this fashion, Victorians not only had green walls but also green furniture, toys, clothes, sweets, and much more. People literally inhaled and even ate arsenic. As a result, there were many cases of poisoning where victims felt as if everything around them was tinted green. Synthetic Jungle for some people… is like that very Scheele’s green. This mixture of «paint, acetone, dandelion juice, and broken hyacinth stems» (exact quote) The concept truly fits - fake green, pure deception. Just like these jungles - artificial, which can act… like arsenic 🌿

Poudre de Musc Intense is a musk with a metallic sheen reminiscent of satin, and a delicate powder that leaves no room for ambiguity. This fragrance is definitely for those who dreamed of a powdery scent in their collection and love Musc Intense, but often add «however» when talking about it. It is truly feminine, especially at a time when niche brands strive to create gender-neutral fragrances 🌸

This novelty can be perceived in different ways – it all depends on how sensitive you are to nuances, how you relate to modern trends, and how much your ideas coincide with the creator's intent. Personally, in Poudre de Musc Intense, I feel like old Hollywood actresses, when they were dressed in luxurious silk gowns for filming, and then waited for hours for their scenes. But someone else might feel cozy in a light silk nightgown or in a cloud of delicate foam ✨

What nonsense! This isn't what I expected. Not like that meme where the horse's rear end is drawn and the rest is just gibberish. Everything here is somehow too pretentious. This black horse, shiny as shoe polish, accelerates as if someone is pushing it. Steam pours from its nostrils as if coals have been thrown into it. Its ribs tremble, and its blood boils. Tension builds like waves, and this animal seems about to burn from adrenaline. To the touch, it's like kneaded plasticine. And at some point, everything just stops… speed is lost… are we still galloping, or are we already flying like a bullet without a target? In short, the Adam Driver commercial is clearly not for this fragrance

The surface, as if polished to a shine, resembles water in a stream. Passing flowers and greenery are reflected in it. All of this is enveloped in an aldehydic haze, creating a strange feeling as if you're dreaming while awake
