Fragrance information:

Damien Bash Lucifer 1 is a rebellious unisex fragrance released in 2010. It belongs to the oriental and floral fragrance families and is available as an eau de parfum.

The name is inspired by the image of Lucifer, the fallen angel, and the fragrance reflects this spirit: it is vibrant, sensual, and slightly provocative.

About the Fragrance

Damien Bash is a French brand founded in 2000, known for its aesthetic rebelliousness and bold compositions.

Lucifer 1 is one of the brand’s key fragrances, suitable for both men and women, as it unfolds differently on every wearer’s skin.

The fragrance has a soft sillage, making it ideal for intimate dates or workdays.

Notes and Development

The fragrance pyramid consists of nine notes: mandarin, neroli, rose, iris, jasmine, carnation, galbanum, amber, and vanilla.

The top notes of mandarin and neroli bring freshness but quickly give way to spicy carnation and powdery iris. A base of amber and vanilla leaves a warm, subtly sweet trail.

When to Wear It and Similar Fragrances

This oriental floral fragrance is ideal for cooler seasons—autumn and spring.

It has an elegant, mysterious character, making it suitable for both evening occasions and everyday wear.

If you like Lucifer 1, consider similar fragrances: Prada Infusion de Rose (2017), Roberto Cavalli Just Gold for Her, and Serge Lutens Une Voix Noire.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of the perfume Lucifer 1 is built on the contrast of citrus freshness and a spicy-floral heart.

Top notes of mandarin and neroli transition into a heart of iris, jasmine, carnation, and rose, while a base of galbanum, amber, and vanilla adds depth and sensuality.

The fragrance does not have a clear division into top, heart, and base — all notes intertwine, creating a single, voluminous impression.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance opens with powdery and peach notes, and in its heart, a slightly sour rose plays against an amber background. In the base, the same powdery-peach trail is heard again, just like at the beginning. Overall, the perfume is quite straightforward; on my skin, it doesn't develop like, for example, Mitsouko - that one plays all day for me. I think this scent will suit those who appreciate Mitsouko's initial notes, but then it seems to suffocate. The longevity, by the way, is good

Today I felt a real rose in this scent, and it was simply amazing! It seemed to appear out of nowhere about four hours after application. At first, the rose was very faint against the incense, but then its full potential unfolded, and it bloomed in all its glory. After about half an hour, it disappeared again, but that moment was simply magical! )
