Description of the composition

The composition of Amberula is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Daniel Barros is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Floral, Fruit, Wood and Amber enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sweet-fresh fruity first notes: Apricot, Lavender, Liqueur and Mandarin.

When the opening settles you detect Caraway, Nutmeg, Patchouli and ylang-ylang carrying a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Fruit, Green, Drinks and Citrus. It also reaches into Floral, Spicy, Wood and Whiteflower. At family level the fragrance belongs to East and Spicy.

Overall Amberula holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged on skin.
