Description of the composition

The scent of Cuba Cavana is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Dannie Dio comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports the depth and body this composition needs.

From the first breath you meet vibrant berry first notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Pear and Pineapple. These 4 notes shape thrilling fruity juiciness that is impossible to miss.

At the core of development you notice Calendula, Geranium, Jasmine and Laurel keeping a harmonious floral direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Floral, Fruit, Spicy and Wood. The framework further includes Citrus, Whiteflower, Musk and Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in East.

Overall Cuba Cavana holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. My introduction to this brand happened completely by chance. In the hardware store where I usually buy disposable bags, I noticed these fragrances next to Shaman. Their prices were ridiculous, so I decided to take all three. Honestly, I had no expectations, only hoped it would smell a little like tobacco. And what do you think? It's there, but it smells so-so. The tobacco is decent, of course, but it's simply overshadowed by more intrusive notes of pine needles and fruits, plus that marigold scent that just doesn't let you enjoy it. I told my perfume-loving friend about it, and she didn't even believe me. Later, when we were doing blind tests, I slipped her this fragrance. She was shocked, said it smelled like a faded blotter after some decent vanilla-woody scent with tobacco. In the end, this fragrance went to her, and I still can't find it. What a mess
