Identity and Release History

The fragrance Tea Olive from Demeter was released in 2018, becoming part of the Classic collection.

This unisex floral cologne has become a part of the brand's olfactory library, which turns scents into a true encyclopedia of life—from freshly cut grass to sea breeze.

Character and Positioning

Tea Olive embodies the lightness and naturalness characteristic of colognes—its trail is faint, creating a gentle, barely noticeable aura around you.

Perfect for warm spring and summer days, this fragrance becomes a companion for walks, office work, or informal meetings, offering freshness without being overpowering.

Practical Usage Tips

As a typical cologne, Tea Olive has a light concentration, so it can be applied generously—3-5 sprays on the skin or clothing will be enough to enjoy its nuances.

To extend its longevity, it is recommended to apply it to warm areas of the body, such as the wrists and neck, as well as on hair or fabric, where it will unfold softly and naturally.

Similar Fragrances for Your Collection

If you enjoyed Tea Olive, consider Demeter Royal Apricot with its juicy fruity accents, Monotheme Fine Fragrances Venezia Osmanto for a more refined floral note, or Faberlic Youthful Osmanthus, which offers a similar approach to osmanthus in the budget segment.

These options will help expand your olfactory horizon.

Description of the composition

The Tea Olive composition is based on the harmonious combination of three key notes that intertwine, creating a holistic image.

Apricot imparts a sweetish, juicy fruitiness, reminiscent of summer days.

Osmanthus, or tea olive, serves as the heart of the fragrance, offering a delicate floral aroma with honeyed and peachy undertones.

Peach adds a velvety softness and warmth, completing the composition with a cozy chord.

Together, these notes create a light, sunny bouquet that is associated with floral families and perfectly conveys the essence of natural fragrances by Demeter.

The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Saw osmanthus in the notes list and was surprised myself. I expected something with tea and olive tree. Anyway, this fragrance is worth trying 🤔

I don't know how anyone could immediately tell this is osmanthus. Floral notes are noticeable, but it's just impossible to pick out anything specific. The scent overall isn't bad, but nothing special

The osmanthus scent, to me, is pretty standard. It has a light peachy nuance, and the floral trail isn't too overwhelming. For a cool spring, it could be a nice choice, smelling soft and feminine

Tea Olive is nothing other than the Osmanthus shrub, not olive tea as it might seem. The flowers of this plant are indeed present in the fragrance. I feel floral notes intertwined with light apricot and peach nuances. Overall, the scent is quite delicate, but it lacks some depth

Didn't expect osmanthus. The name doesn't hint. At first I didn't understand if I liked it. Unexpected
