Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mercury is shaped as a layered story, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of The Dua Brand is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Perfume extract sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a deep balsamic mood: Benzoin, Black Pepper, Caramel, Cashmeran, Iris, Juniper berries and Labdanum. In this case 7 notes sound as one integrated frame, creating enveloping resinous depth that feels seamless.

The inner phases are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Balsamic, Spicy, Sweet and Musk. The palette also extends to Floral, Fruit, Green and Leather. Within olfactory families the scent maps to East and Fern.

Taken together Mercury sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged in wear.
