Description of the composition

The note pyramid of I Love Mambo is built as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The signature of Dzintars is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract sets the right density and pace of development.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a multi-layered petal mood: Hyacinth, Lily of the Valley, Peony, Sandalwood and musk.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is feminine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Middle points to a sustained drydown presence.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Floral, Whiteflower, Wood and Musk.

Lilies of the valley are sweet and delicate, of course, but I couldn't enjoy them for long. Suddenly, some soapy musk appeared, and the scent started to resemble fabric softener 😕
