Immerse Yourself in Tropical Chic with Flower Chic

Introducing Flower Chic by the French brand Filles des Iles—a fragrance launched in 2011 that immediately won the hearts of exotic-fragrance enthusiasts.

This is an eau de toilette for women, belonging to the floral and fruity fragrance families.

It was created by the talented perfumer Delphine Lebeau-Krowiak, whose work gave the world a true celebration of flavor and scent.

The Filles des Iles brand was born in France in 2007 and embodies carefree joy and tropical sensuality.

Flower Chic perfectly reflects this philosophy: its very strong sillage envelops you in a cloud of sweet flowers and juicy fruits, leaving an unforgettable trail.

The fragrance is ideal for warm days and parties, bringing a vacation feeling with every spray.

If you love Flower Chic, explore similar compositions: Faberlic Tropic Story, Escada Island Kiss, and Edgardio Chilini Lime vs Coco—they share the same carefree tropical aesthetic.

Description of the composition

The Flower Chic fragrance pyramid opens with a vibrant duo of orange and ginger — freshness with a spicy sparkle. At its heart beats an exotic trio: hibiscus brings floral opulence, passion fruit adds sweet-and-tart juiciness, while tequila lends a bold cocktail twist. A base of praline and Virginia cedar creates a warm, subtly sweet trail that stays with you throughout the day. This composition is a true mood-lifting cocktail, where every ingredient plays its part.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance really grabs attention. At first, there's a sweetness that's a bit overpowering and seems too intense. But then, as if from inside a candy, a tart alcoholic accent emerges with spices and fresh, still-soft orange marmalade. Although it's bright, I felt its longevity wasn't the best
