Description of the composition

The composition of Chypre is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Fleurage Perfume Atelier is evident in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Aromatic, Floral, Green and Gourmet. It also reaches into Balsamic, Earthy / Mossy and Musk.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet spicy-green opening note: Rosemary.

When the opening settles you notice Iris, Lavender and Vanilla carrying a velvety rose-iris direction. At the foundation the structure settles through Ambrette, Labdanum, Oak moss and musk, shaping a dry green trail.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Powdery, Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Chypre reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.
