Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of The Dark Side evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Francesca Bianchi is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Ambery, Wood, Balsamic and Sweet. It also reaches into Floral, Spicy and Gourmet.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Ambergris, Cedar, Frankincense, Honey, Iris, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Powdery, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In wear duration Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.

A fragrance with oriental spices. The main accord here is honey and amber, which sound very natural and distinct. Frankincense adds an interesting touch, and iris and spices only emphasize the overall harmony. It feels connected to other perfumes from this brand. A true inspiration! 🌟

The fragrance really attracts attention. Yes, it's from Germany, but there's no sweetness in it. In this perfume, I detect spices, frankincense, and sandalwood. Floral notes are not perceptible. I really like it, though it's a shame there's no sillage. But it lasts a full 12 hours on the skin
