Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Chypre unfolds as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Franck Boclet is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Cardamom and Orange blossom.

In the middle phase you meet Jasmine, Rose and Tuberose keeping a sensual jasmine direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read. For persistence Middle suggests confident staying power.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Spicy, Whiteflower and Floral. The palette also extends to Ambery, Wood and Musk.

Taken together Chypre sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint.

Rose with a tart nuance and patchouli in a powdery, spicy cloud, and a slight sweetness is felt in the base. Amber plays the main role here, and tuberose adds softness and sweetness. The fragrance is dense, but not too intrusive. Yes, it's more suitable for men, but I happily wore myself too 😊

What a load of nonsense with this perfumery. The title says one thing, and the description says something completely different. Is this a joke? It clearly smells masculine, and there's no need to lie here. The fragrance is okay, of course, but nothing more. For everyday use, maybe it's fine, but nothing special. Expensive, reserved - who needs that? In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it doesn't add confidence, but rather weighs on your mind. Long-lasting, good sillage - yes, but that doesn't save it. All in all, not impressive, just like this whole endeavor 😒
