Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Oud Vanille evolves as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Franck Olivier is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect honey-sweet opening notes: Caramel, Orange and Raspberry. These 3 notes form a delicious gourmand trail that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Frankincense, Jasmine, Patchouli, Rose and Violet carrying a opulent floral direction.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Fruit, Musc, Wood and Spicy add depth to the backdrop.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Sweet, Citrus, Fruit and Balsamic. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Wood, Floral and Spicy.

Taken together Oud Vanille holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

A pleasant unisex fragrance that's definitely worth paying attention to. The oud here is present throughout, but it doesn't overpower; rather, it embraces. Smoky notes create an interesting backdrop, and it seems to be frankincense combined with other components. Patchouli also makes an appearance - it adds depth. This perfume is perfectly suited for both women and men. Just a couple of sprays are enough to feel its presence. Longevity is pleasing - from moderate to good. Although caramel and raspberry aren't as distinctly expressed, a sweetness is still felt against the backdrop of the unisex notes. The fragrance is dynamic, not flat, and clearly well-thought-out. Definitely worth a try!

The scent is interesting, of course, but the bottle is just a nightmare. Oud with vanilla sounds tempting, but in reality, it's something amazing. You rarely find such high-quality oud in luxury and niche, let alone in mass-market. It's soft, yet so intense at the same time. Just two sprays are enough, and the house fills with this smell. Affordable, long-lasting, with a good sillage - what more could you want? But this bottle... just awful

A beautiful fragrance. I'm glad that the oud doesn't come through too strongly on the skin. Here, I sense smoky rose, lots of raspberry, vanilla, and caramel. It's deep and enveloping. Such perfumes can truly be called passionate and even a little bit sexy
