Discover the Fragrance

Sun Java for Women is an eau de parfum for women from the fashion house Franck Olivier, launched in 2004.

The fragrance is part of the Sun Java collection and belongs to the floral and fruity families.

With its eau de parfum concentration and very strong sillage, it can captivate even the most discerning admirers of long-lasting compositions.

Creator and Brand Philosophy

The composition was created by Franck Olivier himself—a fashion designer and perfumer whose name has become synonymous with quality and elegance.

The Franck Olivier perfume house is a refined fusion of Parisian fashion and French perfumery artistry.

Although the fragrance line was officially launched in 1998, the brand's history began much earlier, and every creation embodies a love of beauty and harmony.

Inspiration and Character

Sun Java for Women transports us to the exotic island of Java, where summer lasts forever. Fruity and floral accords intertwine in a melody of carefree happiness.

It is the perfect choice for romantic, self-confident women who cherish the joy of the moment.

The fragrance evokes the feeling of a warm sea breeze and sunshine, leaving no one around indifferent.

Longevity and Sillage

Thanks to its very strong sillage, Sun Java for Women will linger on the skin for several hours, leaving behind a delightful trail.

It is especially well suited for daytime wear in warm weather, when you want to surround yourself with a juicy, cheerful cloud of fragrance.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Melon in perfumery isn't my issue, but in this scent, it smells somehow too vague. I can wear it, but I constantly feel an overly intrusive melon trail following me wherever I go

The scent is simply gorgeous! It's in the compote category, and you can feel it. Melon with peach creates a watery sweetness, and the rose-magnolia accent adds a twist. This is truly a summer scent that fills you with energy and gives a feeling of lightness and femininity. Just super! )

Peach and melon sweetness, like a light breeze, mixes with lush notes of magnolia and roses. My older sister had this fragrance, and I always envied her. But recently I bought it in a mini version and realized it's not for me anymore. It sounds a bit outdated, not in a retro sense, but as if it's stuck somewhere between the nineties and the noughties )
