Fragrance information:

Bleu Azur Georges Rech is marketed as a masculine fragrance, belonging to the fern and aromatic families. The fragrance is presented as eau de toilette.

The sillage is delicate — an intimate cloud that stays close to the skin. It's a light presence — longevity is low, perfect for those who love something airy. Brand country — France: a place that truly knows its way around a great scent. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Bleu Azur is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Georges Rech is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot and Cardamom.

In the heart you meet Ambergris, Lavender and Mimosa keeping a softly spicy direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Gourmet and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which clarifies the composition character. In wear duration Low indicates a stable lasting impression.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Citrus, Spicy, Ambery and Green. The palette also extends to Floral, Wood and Aromatic.

Overall Bleu Azur reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Persistence
Low (1 to 2 hours)
2
Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Imperceptible
2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This cologne has bright spices, you can clearly smell lavender and cardamom in it. Honestly, it smells quite generic, nothing special. There are plenty of similar scents out there, especially in the mass market 😅
