Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Imperial No 4 is built as a living composition, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Geparlys is clear from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Leather and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

In the first seconds you meet cardamom-peppery first notes: Cardamom and Rosemary.

When the opening settles you notice Grapefruit, Tuberose and ylang-ylang carrying a sensual jasmine direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Spicy, Aromatic, Citrus and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Wood and Leather. Within olfactory families the composition sits in Fern.

This scent is, of course, cold and herbal, with barely noticeable floral notes. It smells somewhat cheap and doesn't evoke much delight. But the bottle, yes, I like it, even though it looks like a Tom Ford knockoff
