Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Oud evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Granado is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de Cologne keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Wood and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

As soon as the fragrance opens you meet cardamom-peppery first notes: Black Pepper, Cardamom and Guaiac wood.

When the opening settles you notice Elemi, Patchouli and White Cedar holding a structural woody direction. At the foundation the line is anchored through Absinthe, Oud and Sandalwood, reinforcing a warm vetiver trail.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Wood, Balsamic and Drinks. The framework further includes Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East and Wood.

Taken together Oud sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
