The note pyramid of Citron is built as a living composition, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Guy Bouchara comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus. From a family perspective the scent maps to Citrus.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a airy lemon mood: Cedrat. In this case 1 note works as one integrated frame, creating a burst of citrus freshness that feels seamless.

The heart and base are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Citrus isn't for me, and if I do choose something with a tart fruit, it's only for home use. The sharpness in citrus scents is what I like. This citron is really sharp and tangy, and most importantly, on my skin it doesn't smell like soap 😔
