Description of the composition

The composition of One & Only evolves as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Hannibal Laguna comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a soft-dry woody mood: Cardamom, Cedar, Jasmine, Lemon, Moss, Orange and Rosemary. In this format 7 notes act as one integrated frame, creating a sense of noble depth that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood without random overlap. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Wood, Whiteflower and Citrus. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy and Aromatic.

Overall One & Only holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
