Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Coffin Nails is built as a living composition, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The style of Hexennacht comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract supports the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Balsamic, Sweet and Fruit. The palette also extends to Floral, Gourmet, Wood and Drinks. From a family perspective the scent maps to East and Spicy.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a expressively spicy mood: Anise, Benzoin, Clove, Coriander, Ginger, Hay and Honey.

The heart and base are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Wood, Spicy and Alcoholic add depth to the backdrop.
