Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mephistopheles is shaped as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Hexennacht is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The accord profile rests on these accords: Wood, Spicy, Vegetable and Mineral with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Cabreuva, Cedar, Clove, Earthy Notes, Fallen leaves, Laurelia and Mountain Air.
