Description of the composition

The scent of Licorice is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of HM Editions comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fruit, Citrus, Drinks and Wood. The palette also extends to Leather, Whiteflower, Balsamic and Gourmet.

In the top tier you meet juicy fruity first notes: Apple, Mandarin and Whisky.

In the heart you notice Cedar, Leather accord and Lily of the Valley keeping a structural woody direction. In the base the composition is fixed through Amber, Vanilla and musk, reinforcing a velvety incense trail.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Wood, Leather, Spicy and Alcoholic enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

Taken together Licorice sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.
